WXC: Molina Has Strong Showing at National Championships

TALLAHASSEE, FL - Juliana Molina of Texas Wesleyan University had a strong finish to the Rams 2025 cross country campaign as she placed 111th out of a total of 327 runners at the NAIA National Cross Country Chapionships with a time of 22:58.6.

Molina is the first Ram since Hasnae Goulamzi and Ashlei McDonald in 2023 to finish in the top 120 and is one of eight Rams to do so in the Women's NAIA National Championship. Molina capped off an impressive season with a solid finish in her first ever NAIA National Championship meet and looks to return next year as she emerged as one of the top runners in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

Jaynie Halterman of Taylor University finished in first place as she won the race by more than 30 seconds with a time of 20:13.2. Ellen-Mary Kearney of Milligan University and Heather Murphy of Montreat University rounded out the top three in the Women's meet.

In the Men's meet, Jack Anderson of The Master's University (Calif.) took first place as he finished with a time of 24:15.4 and beat Mason Weisgerber of Southern Oregon by only two seconds. Yemane Mulugeta of Trinity Western rounded out the top three of the Men's meet.
