NORMAN - Texas Wesleyan University earned Presidents Special Recognition for its outstanding team GPA of 3.5 or higher, joining 128 other schools honored by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) as 2024-25 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award recipients.
Harvard (NCAA Division I, 3.955), Findlay (NCAA Division II, 3.83), Bowdoin (NCAA Division III, 3.81), SCAD Savannah (NAIA, 3.74), Iowa Western (NJCAA Division I, 3.68), Southwestern (IA) (NJCAA Division II, 3.41), and Alabama State (HBCU, 3.707) were named Academic National Champions for achieving the highest GPA in their respective divisions.
A record 292 schools across six divisions received a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award for maintaining a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Of those, 129 schools, including Texas Wesleyan, secured Presidents Special Recognition for a team GPA of 3.5 or above.
