WICHITA — Texas Wesleyan University fell 4-0 to Friends University (Kan.) Thursday night at Adair-Austin Stadium. The Rams dropped to 2-3-0; the Falcons improved to 2-1-0.

Friends controlled play, outshooting Texas Wesleyan 21-4 and recording 12 shots on goal to the Rams' two. Solenn Levesque scored in the 32nd minute, assisted by Mackenzie Cunningham. After halftime, Kieley Aranda netted a goal in the 48th minute, then Cunningham added two quick strikes in the 53rd and 54th minutes, the last assisted by Paige Putter.

Texas Wesleyan struggled offensively, with Yareli Mendoza and Amelia Roach tallying one shot on goal each. Goalkeepers Hannah Smith and Ally Kolba made two and six saves but could not stop the Falcons' attack. Friends also led 9-1 in corner kicks..

The Rams will next play on the road on Saturday against Bethel College of Kansas, with the game scheduled for an 11 a.m. start.
