GREENWOOD, IN - Texas Wesleyan University had 15 student-athletes earn Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators for the 2025-26 academic year, with 12 of them advancing as finalists for Academic All-America recognition.
The honors, which recognize top performers on the field and in the classroom, were announced in late 2025 for men's and women's soccer, followed by volleyball and football in early 2026. None of the finalists from Texas Wesleyan were selected for the final Academic All-America teams.
In men's soccer,
Pablo Bances,
Axel Tonietto,
Diogo Stefane and Nathaniel Neag each earned All-District honors and advanced as finalists. Â
Five Texas Wesleyan women's soccer players received All-District recognition: Kathryn Cameron,
Bailey Clark,
Haley Ellis, Yareli Mendoza and
Shannon Middleton. All five advanced as finalists.Â
Texas Wesleyan had two football players honored at the All-District level:
Cole Francis and
Daniel Aigbogun, with Aigbogun advancing as a finalist. Â
