FORT WORTH — Texas Wesleyan University (16-4, 3-3 SAC) fell to Mid-America Christian University (14-5, 5-1 SAC ) with a final score of 5-2 on Saturday at Sycamore Park.
Jorge Herrera contributed a home run for Texas Wesleyan in the fourth inning, accounting for one of its two runs.
Mid-America Christian took an early lead in the first inning, scoring three runs. A throwing error allowed Nick Hill to reach second base, followed by Frank Giacalone's RBI single that brought Hill home. Tuane Cope's triple to right-center field added two more runs, making the score 3-0.
Texas Wesleyan responded in the fourth inning.
