Southwestern Christian took an early lead in the second inning when Elvis Rojas tripled to right-center and scored on a single from Braden Browning. Another run came in on a single by Eliam Dudamel, putting the Eagles ahead 2-0 after two innings.
In the third inning, the Eagles extended their lead to 4-0. Aiden O'Malley doubled and scored on another triple by Rojas. Browning again contributed with an RBI single that brought home Rojas.
