KANSAS CITY — Texas Wesleyan University's
Brendon Vela earned NAIA Baseball All-America honors, highlighting the Rams' representation on the 2026 NAIA Baseball All-America Teams announced recently.
Vela, who served as Texas Wesleyan's designated hitter, was named to the NAIA All-America Second Team after a standout season at the plate for the Rams.
The All-America teams recognized the top players across the NAIA, with representatives from programs throughout the country earning first, second and third-team honors.
