FORT WORTH — Texas Wesleyan University baseball will host its ninth annual Baseball Golf Classic on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Bear Creek Golf Club in Dallas.

The annual fundraiser will begin with registration, breakfast and an open driving range from 6:30-7:45 a.m., followed by rules and announcements at 7:50 a.m. The tournament will have an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

The event will conclude with lunch and awards at approximately 1 p.m. following the completion of 18 holes.

"We are extremely excited to be returning to Bear Creek Golf Club for the Texas Wesleyan Baseball Golf Classic," Texas Wesleyan head baseball coach Robert Garza said. "We ask that you join in the excitement and help us raise funds to support our baseball program."

Registration is available for teams and individuals, while several sponsorship opportunities also are available.

Team registration is $800 and includes entry for four players, breakfast, lunch and one raffle ticket per player. Individual registration is $200 and includes tournament entry, breakfast, lunch and one raffle ticket.

Sponsorship opportunities include a $4,000 presenting sponsorship, $3,000 lunch sponsorship, $2,000 breakfast sponsorship and $250 tee box sponsorship. Sponsorship packages include varying levels of tournament participation and recognition.

The presenting sponsorship includes a four-player tournament entry, breakfast and lunch, three drink tickets and five raffle tickets per player, tee box recognition, an Eagle Package and four Texas Wesleyan baseball hats.

The lunch sponsorship includes a four-player tournament entry, breakfast and lunch, two drink tickets and five raffle tickets per player, tee box recognition and four Texas Wesleyan baseball hats. The breakfast sponsorship includes a four-player entry, breakfast and lunch, one drink ticket and one raffle ticket per player, along with tee box recognition.

The tournament will be held at Bear Creek Golf Club, located at 3500 Bear Creek Court in Dallas.
