FORT WORTH, Texas — Texas Wesleyan (0-0-1, 0-0) and Paul Quinn (0-0-1, 0-0) played to a scoreless draw on Monday night at Martin Field.
Texas Wesleyan managed to outshoot Paul Quinn with six attempts, four of which were on target, but neither team could find the back of the net.
The first period began with Texas Wesleyan establishing a strong offensive presence.
Yareli Mendoza and
Amelia Roach both tested Paul Quinn's goalkeeper, Emily Barrera, with attempts that were saved.
Addison Hanner's effort also required a defensive save, underscoring Texas Wesleyan's attacking intent.

Adriaa Hardy made a crucial save against a shot by Paul Quinn's Jadyn Jones to maintain a scoreless tie. The period concluded with neither team breaking through, keeping the score at 0-0.
