WESTWORTH VILLAGE — Texas Wesleyan placed third as a team and had all eight golfers finish inside the top 31 of the individual standings Tuesday at the Texas Intercollegiate at Hawks Creek Golf Course.

The Rams finished with a three-round score of 915, 51 over par, following rounds of 303, 308 and 304. Weatherford won the team title with an 881, while McLennan Community College finished second at 909.

Makena Junkin led Texas Wesleyan and captured first place individually with a 5-under-par 211. Junkin opened with rounds of 69 and 68 before closing with a 74 in the final round.

Juliette Saillour and Jordan Pillay tied for 19th at 236, 20 over par. Saillour carded rounds of 81, 79 and 76, while Pillay finished with rounds of 79, 81 and 76.

Corrina Griffin placed 23rd with a 238, 22 over par, after rounds of 80, 80 and 78. Emily Crick rounded out the Texas Wesleyan team lineup in 31st at 245, 29 over par, with rounds of 75, 87 and 83.

The Rams also had three individual competitors finish inside the top 30.

Maggie Pham tied for 11th at 230, 14 over par, shooting rounds of 79, 77 and 74. Sofia Gorgees Baeta tied for 15th at 232, 16 over par, after carding rounds of 75, 82 and 75.

Annaliese Joiner finished 29th at 244, 28 over par, with rounds of 84, 81 and 79.

The Texas Intercollegiate was played over three rounds at the par-72, 5,986-yard Hawks Creek Golf Course.
