Box Score 2 SHAWNEE, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team (1-3) came all the back in a 3-2 (24-26, 13-25, 25-23, 25-21, 15-12) battle over Lindenwood University-Belleville (2-2) before taking a 3-1 (20-25, 25-22, 25-14, 25-15) loss to Friends University Kansas (3-1) in the final day of the Oklahoma Baptist Tournament on Saturday.

The Lady Rams dug a hole in against the Lynx after falling in the close game one. Texas Wesleyan got out of sync in the second taking a hard 25-13 game two loss. The Rams took advantage of a few costly Lindenwood errors to build some momentum in the third set, before tying the match in the fourth to force a fifth set. The Lady Rams took care of business with a 15-12 fifth set win to take the match in comeback fashion.

Lynsay Buell led the Lady Rams with a 10 kill match, adding six block assists as well.
Alex Hendee posted nine kills and 12 digs.
Meghan Finley tallied nine kills, seven digs, five block assists, and one solo block.
Kristina Gafford notched a double double behind 21 assists and 11 digs. The Lady Rams controlled the net with 12 total team blocks.

Wesleyan jumped out on top of the Falcons in the second match with a 25-20 first set win behind hitting .227 as a team with 17 kills, while the Falcons only hit .119 as a team. Â Friends used their very deep roster to their advantage, as 18 Falcons played in the match. The Falcons took the next three sets to take a 3-1 win.

Hendee led the Rams with a double double on 11 kills and 18 digs, while adding a pair of service aces. Gafford tallied a second consecutive double double with 28 assists and 12 digs Buell grabbed eight kills with a pair of block assists in the loss.
Abigail Zipoy led the Rams with 23 digs.

The Lady Rams will host Texas Woman's University in the home opener on Tuesday, August 26 starting at 5:00 pm in the Sid Richardson Center.Â
