Â
The Lady Rams controlled the entire match and started by busting out with a 7-0 rally, capped by an
Abby Zipoy kill, to start the first set. A
Kiersten Mebane kill later in the match made it 17-10 Rams. Texas Wesleyan never trailed and Zipoy took the kill to win the set, 25-19.
Â
Wesleyan started the second set with a 5-1 run capped by a pair of
Shelby Stinnett kills.
Starnisha Bodie later made it an 18-13 lead with a kill. The Eagles battled back and cut the lead late in the game after a Priscila Hannah kill made a two-point game at 23-21. Stinnett and the Rams closed the game out though, powering to a 25-21 win.

Starnisha Bodie made sure of it with a monster kill to make it a 20-16. The Rams maintained that lead, and the match was put away with
Bre Blackburn kill to win the game 25-18.
