DALLAS, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University women's tennis team (3-1) defeated Texas A&M University Texarkana (1-11) 8-1 at the Dallas Duals on Friday. The Rams also took on Seward County Community College.
Against A&M Texarkana, the Rams took a second straight victory over the Eagles, this time dropping only one singles match.
Emily Murchland,
Katy Foster,
Alexa Mentesana,
Emily Rodriguez, and
Maggie Brasher all won in singles. In doubles, the combinations of Foster/Murchland, Mentesana/Rodriguez, and Brasher/Willis were all up to the task.
Against Seward County, the Foster and Murchland took the No. 1 doubles match to improve to 4-1 on the season as a pair.
The Rams will continue action at the Dallas Duals on Saturday.
