CLEREMONT, FL: The Texas Wesleyan University softball team (11-10) dropped an 11-5 game to Concordia (MI) (13-5) before taking a walk-off 6-5 win over St. Francis Fort Wayne (1-4) at the 2016 Spring Games.

In the game against the Cardinals, the Lady Rams got off to a hot start with a two run first.
Lauren Gunter knocked in a RBI sacrifice fly before
Shelby Reddington slapped a RBI single for a 2-0 lead.

Dani West added another run in the second with a RBI single to a 3-0 advantage.

The Cardinals posted a rally in the third to tie the game 3-3. Concordia loaded the bases before Elizabeth Barkel hit a bases clearing triple for the equalizer. The Cardinals took 4-3 lead on base hit before the inning was over.

West posted a base hit with a runner on base, and a Concordia error led to a run to tie the game 4-4.

The Lady Rams committed a pair of costly errors in the fourth that turned into a four run inning for the Cardinals to grab a commanding 8-4 lead. Concordia posted another three runs to make it 11-4.

Samantha Vasquez smashed a home run in the seventh, but that was all the Rams would get as they fall 11-5.

In game versus the University of St. Francis Fort Wayne, the Cougars jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first.

The Lady Rams put two on the board in the fourth inning with a
Corrina Palomino two RBI double to cut the lead in half to make it a 4-2 game.

Bailey Terry put a run on the board in the sixth with a home run to make it a one run game at 4-3.

The Cougars added an insurance run in the top of the seventh to make it a 5-3 edge heading into the final inning.

The Lady Rams played comeback with a little help by a few errors to set up a
Lauren Gunter RBI groundout to post a run before
Dani West blasted a walk-off double to score two and win the game 6-5.

The Lady Rams will continue with Day 3 of the Spring Games with Northwestern (OH) at 9:00am and Missouri Baptist at 1:00 pm.
