OKLAHOMA CITY, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University softball team (11-17, 2-2 SAC) dropped a pair of games (6-1 and 8-0) to No. 2 Oklahoma City University (32-1, 7-1 SAC) at Ann Lacy Stadium on Thursday.

The Lady Rams got out to an early lead in the top of the first.
Dani West smacked a single up the middle. West swiped second, before
Bailey Terry drove the runner home with a RBI base hit up the middle to make it a 1-0 edge.

The Stars took the lead in the third inning, starting with a Bailey Whitmore fielder's choice RBI. Kyndra Holasek doubled one home before Laci Joyner hit a sacrifice fly to foul territory in left field to take a 3-1 advantage. The Stars added a two runs in the fourth and one more in the fifth, while keeping the Lady Rams at bay on the way to a 6-1 win.

West went 2 for 3 for the Lady Rams. Bailey went 1 for 2 with one RBI.

In the second game, the Stars shut down the Texas Wesleyan offense while putting up crooked numbers in three different innings to take an 8-0 win in five innings.

Terry stopped the shut out in the fourth inning, and was the only hit surrendered by Oklahoma City.

The Lady Rams stay north of the border to take on Southwestern Christian University with a double header tomorrow starting at Noon in Bethany, OK.
