BETHANY, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University softball team (13-17, 4-2 SAC) picked up a 6-3 win before taking a 7-3 over Southwestern Christian University (4-17, 1-5 SAC) on Friday.

In game one, the Eagles got on the board in the fourth inning. Jazmine Koerner hit a home run to left field to give SCU a 1-0 edge.

Kayla Prachyl slapped a single up the middle to plate a run and tie the game.

Bailey Terry put the Rams in front in the sixth with a homer to right-center to make it a 2-1 game.
Â
Prachyl drove in another run with a sacrifice fly in the seventh that started a four run rally.
Dani West singled in a run through right side before
Samantha Vasquez hit a two RBI base hit to right field to make it a 6-1 game.

The Eagles added two runs in the bottom of the seventh but were unable to make the comeback as the Lady Rams took the game 6-3.

Prachyl went 3 for 3 with two RBI. Vasquez went 1 for 4 and two RBI.

In game two, the Lady Rams struck first with a West sacrifice fly to gain a 1-0 lead.

The Eagles came back to take a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning with a four hit, three run rally.

Samantha Bastien hit a ground out RBI before an Eagle error allowed two more runs to cross the plate for a 4-3 lead.

The Lady Rams added three runs in the seventh.
Haley Neill came up huge in a pinch hitting spot. After Terry hit a double down the third base line, Neill smashed a ball over the left field wall.
Mackenzie Kirkpatrick hit a RBI single to right to add another run on the way to a 7-3 win.

Kirkpatrick went 1 for 4 with three RBI. Neill went 1 for 1 with a pair of RBI.

The Lady Rams will come home to play St. Gregory's University in a double header on Wednesday, March 30 starting at 1:00 pm.
