CHICKASHA, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University softball team (20-26, 11-11 SAC) suffered a pair of losses (0-4, 6-5) to (RV) the University of Science & Arts (25-16, 14-8 SAC) at Bill Smith Ballpark on Friday.

Tate Landmark led off the bottom of the first with a triple to set up a ground out RBI for a 1-0 lead.

The Drovers added a three run rally in the sixth capped by a McKenna Eubank two RBI double, her third hit of the ball game.

The Lady Rams could not get anything going and were held to just four hits. Terry Bailey,
Samantha Vasquez, and
Kaley Batchlear each went 1 for 3.
Demi Dotson went 1 for 2 in the loss.

Brittany Rosenberry (9-12) was once again solid on the mound for the Lady Rams. She tossed six innings, scattered nine hits on four runs, but only one of those was earned. She allowed no walks and posted three strikeouts. Rosenberry sports a 2.89 ERA in 147.2 innings pitched.

In game two the Lady Rams put a run up in the top of the first after a Dani West lead-off base hit led to a Terry RBI groundout.

The Drovers got the run back in the bottom of the inning to tie the game, and then posted a three run third inning to take a 4-1 advantage midway through the ball game.

USAO tallied two more runs in the fifth with a Dani Warren RBI double preceded by Landmark RBI triple for a 6-1 advantage.

Texas Wesleyan started a comeback in the seventh. With two away in the inning, the Lady Rams worked back-to-back walks followed by a Batchlear single to load the bases. Terry singled to plate a pair of Lady Rams before
Kayla Prachyl kept the inning alive with a RBI single to cut the lead to one at 6-5. The Drovers, working with two outs finally got the final out to cut off the comeback and take the game.

Terry led Wesleyan going 3 for 4 with three RBI. Prachyl went 2 for 4 with one RBI. Batchlear went 2 for 4.

The Lady Rams will finish up the road stand with a double header tomorrow at Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City starting at 11:00am. Â Â
