BETHANY, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team (14-2, 1-2 SAC) picked up a 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-15) conference win over Southwestern Christian University (11-2, 2-1 SAC) on Tuesday.

The Lady Rams started the match with an 11-6 run capped by a Brianna Jaramillo kill. Wesleyan kept their foot on the gas pedal, romping out to an 18-10 lead after an Alanna Hayhurst smash. The Eagles got the offense together to score consistently, but so did the Rams, with Shelby Stinnett putting away a kill to take the first set, 25-18.

Texas Wesleyan sprinted out to a 6-0 lead to start the second set, highlighted by a Stinnett ace and a Carli Owens, Hayhurst block. Hayhurst would connect on a kill later in the set to make it a 21-16 game. A Jaramillo kill and a SCU error put the Rams up 2-0 with a 25-21 win.

The Eagles kept the game close to start the third set, trailing 7-6 after a Shaeli Munroe service ace. It did not stay that way for long though, as the Lady Rams dominated the rest of the game. Wesleyan posted a 14-3 run on Southwestern Christian that ended with kills by Owens and Hayhurst for a 21-10 advantage. Texas Wesleyan coasted to a 25-15 set, 3-0 match win.

Jaramillo led the Lady Rams with 11 kills, hitting .625 in the win. Brittni Mohle also tallied 11kills. Sasha Robinson had 32 assists, while Stinnett led the team with 16 digs.
