BETHANY, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team (20-2, 9-2 SAC) passed a tough road test in very close 3-1 (26-24, 27-25, 23-25, 25-21) conference win over Southwestern Christian University (12-8, 5-6 SAC) at Pickens-Springer Gymnasium on Saturday.

The Lady Rams were efficient in the attack and tough at the net against a scrappy Eagles team. TXWES hit .273 and out-blocked the home team 10-3.

Brianna Jaramillo was spotless once again (10-0-27), hitting .370.
Brittni Mohle seems to shine in close matches and she tipped the scales for the Lady Rams in stat sheet. The sophomore from Deer Park, TX grabbed 11 kills, hitting a dominant .417.

Stinnett had another solid outing and led the Rams with 14 kills, hitting .264. The second ranked hitter in the conference also picked up her 43rd career double-double with 12 digs.
Tierra Coverson led all players with five blocks.

Sasha Robinson also picked up a double-double with 35 assists and 18 digs.
Hannah Altman made her presence felt with 21 assists.
Chalon Anderson added a season high 13 digs in the effort.

It was just the sixth time this season the Rams had to play beyond 25 (or 15 for fifth sets). The team is now 4-2 in those sets. TXWES also improved to 6-0 on the road for the season.

The conference leader in hitting percentage (.246, 15th NAIA) will continue their road stand in Waxahachie, TX with a grudge match between SAGU. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, October 17 starting at 7 p.m. at the Full Life Center. Â
