GOODWELL, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team (21-3, 10-3 SAC) put another in win column in a 3-1 (25-13, 25-11, 10-25, 25-9) SAC romp over Oklahoma Panhandle State University (8-15, 5-9 SAC) at Oscar Williams Field House on Thursday.

The Lady Rams shot out of the gate on a 7-2 run capped by a
Dana Lohrke smash from the middle. The Aggies would trail throughout, fighting to keep the deficit in the single digits.
Shelby Stinnett rocked the court on a kill for a 22-12 advantage and dropped in an ace on the next play before Lohrke notched two more kills for a first set win.

Texas Wesleyan held a 5-4 edge to start the second set before an 8-1 rally capped by a
Brittni Mohle ace that put the Aggies in a seven-point hole at 13-6. OPSU responded with four straight, but a booming
Brianna Jaramillo blast put a quick end the rally. TXWES went on an 11-1 scoring spree the rest of the way, a rally that included four kills from Lohrke and a pair of aces from both Stinnett and Hanna Altman.

The third set made a convincing case for the definition of an anomaly. The Aggies flashed the leather for the home crowd, hitting .500, outscoring the Rams 12-2 on the way to a 25-10 win.

TXWES rebooted in the fourth set, posting a dominating 16-2 run that included points from seven different Lady Rams for a 20-8 lead. The Aggies were held to single digits as Lohrke and
Sasha Robinson got in on a block for the 25-9 win. Â

Lohrke led the Rams with a season high 15 kills. The junior from Bandera, TX was on fire tonight, hitting .565 with four blocks in the win.

Brianna Jaramillo hit .318 behind 10 kills. It was the tenth 10th time this season the senior from Hutto, TX hit north of .300 in a match, and the fifth time in the last seven games.

Stinnett posted career double-double number 44 with 10 kill and 11 digs, adding four aces in the process. Robinson provided six kills and double-double behind 21 assists and 13 digs.
Kayla Hayes led all players with 14 digs.

The Lady Rams will face a tough road opponent in Wayland Baptist University on Saturday, October 28 in Plainview, TX. The Rams and Pioneers are ranked 4th and 5
th respectively in the SAC standings. The match is scheduled for a noon start at Hutcherson Center.
