The Rams

You will not find a college football team more excited about opening day than your Texas Wesleyan Rams.  It has been 76-years since Ram Nation was treated to a game on the gridiron, and the current team has been waiting two years for this moment.

With just two recruiting classes under his belt, Head Coach Joe Prud'homme's team is young, but he believes the talent on the roster will make the Rams very tough to play.

The Bulldogs

McPherson was picked 9th of ten teams in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) after posting a record of 1-10 last season.  With 37 returning letter winners including 15 starters (9 on offense, 6 on defense), Head Coach Paul Mierkiewicz is excited about his teams depth this season.

The team's 1-10 record last season is certainly misleading as the Bulldogs were on the wrong end of numerous tight scores.  Five of the team's losses were by five points or less.

Quarterback Ed Crouch is back for his junior season after throwing for 2,198 yards and 20 touchdowns and rushing for another 849 yards and eight touchdowns last season.
