ARLINGTON, TX: The Texas Wesleyan Women's tennis (0-2) fell by a final score of 9-0 against Angelo State University (2-0) Saturday afternoon at Arlington Tennis Center.
 
In doubles, Laura Grunden and Mae Covacevich had the team's best performance but fell 8-4. Meanwhile Ashton Willis and Maggie Brsaher fought hard to keep things close but fell 8-3.
 
The high-powered Rambelles swept away the Lady Rams in singles as well.  Again Grunden put up a strong fight before falling 6-1, 6-2.
 
The Rams will return to action Friday and Saturday at the Super Six Duals.  They will play North Central Texas College (10am) and Jacksonville College (2:30 pm) in exhibition on Friday and Texas A&M-Texarkan (10am) and University of the Southwest (2:30 pm) on Saturday.
