DALLAS, TX:  The Texas Wesleyan University Men and Women's Tennis teams fell in dual matches at Dallas Baptist University Saturday morning.  The Rams (4-8) fell 5-1, while the Lady Rams (8-5) were swept 5-0.
 
The Rams put together strong efforts in No. 1 and No. 2 singles.  Florian Schmitt produced the lone win of the day, topping DBU's Canonn Jones in a 7-6 first-set tiebreaker before taking the second set 6-3.  On the second line, Linus Richter fell to Nathan Torres by the same 7-6, 6-3 scores.
 
DBU took all three doubles matches by 8-2 finals and closed the match with a win in No. 4 singles.
 
The Lady Rams remain well above .500 at 8-5 on the season in spite of the 5-0 loss on the Patriot's Senior Day in Dallas.
 
Texas Wesleyan will return to action on Saturday, April 21, in an exhibition match at Seminole State College in Seminole, OK.
