Texas Wesleyan plays their third road game in four weeks, now headed to Arizona to face the Ottawa Spirit, ranked No. 23 in the most recent NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll. Ottawa scorned the Rams in the final game of 2018 with a last-second 35-29 win after the Rams nearly completed an epic comeback in front of the hometown fans. 

It's Ottawa's second season as a football program after the Spirit got a fast start last season, finishing 7-3 in the regular season before falling 38-35 in the NCCAA Victory Bowl to Olivet Nazarene University.
