FORT WORTH, Texas — The Texas Wesleyan Women's Wrestling team battled hard against the No. 1 Wayland Baptist Pioneers, falling 25-15 in the Sid Richardson Center on Wednesday.
 
The Rams won three matches and two by falls. In the 116-lb. class, Camille Fournier pinned Mia Arceneaux, and in the 130-lb. class Mea Mohler pinned Jasmine Davis.
 
After a match ending injury in the 136-lb. class, Lexi Basham came out on top with five points.
 
Ram grapplers Madison Brown, Clarissa Archuleta and Maryellen Lafferty were pinned by their opponents.
