CONWAY, Ark. — The Texas Wesleyan Men's Wrestling team dominated at the Mustang Duals on Friday, going 3-0 with Ram wrestlers winning 23 of their 30 matches.

The Rams beat Ouachita Baptist 42-3, Oklahoma Wesleyan 38-15, and Williams Baptist 37-14.

Christian Espinoza highlighted the day, winning all three of his matches by fall. The freshman has now pinned five opponents in a row including two from the Concordia Duals on December 19.

La'Stot Pleasant and
Dracius McKee also went a perfect 3-0 Friday, and
Kobe Nelms went 2-0.

In the 141-lb class, Pleasant won by technical fall over Oklahoma Wesleyan in a match that featured 5 takedowns, 4 escapes, and 2 near falls by the freshman.

No. 9 McKee in the 165-lb class started the dual by winning via technical fall in the third period versus Ouachita Baptist. Against Oklahoma Wesleyan, he got a late takedown at the whistle to win 8-3. Then McKee concluded the day with another technical fall.

In the 133-lb class, No. 15 Nelms beat OBU 17-1 by technical fall, then took care of WBU in a 6-0 decision to win both his matches.
