FORT WORTH --The Texas Wesleyan Men's wrestling team lost a dual 33-9 against 11th ranked Oklahoma City on Thursday Night.
Sophomore
Deandre Rucker earned 6 points for the Rams winning by a forfeit. Freshman Andre Ugalde earned 3 points for TXWES by a decision against Logan Chappell of Oklahoma City.
The Rams won matches in the 197 lb weight class and the 141 lb weight class. Oklahoma City dominated the match with 21 takedowns. The Rams only recorded 4 takedowns in the match.
The Stars won two matches by a decision, one by a fall, one by a forfeit, three by major decisions, and one by a sudden victory.
The Rams won two matches and the Stars won eight matches.
TXWES moves to 0-1 on the season and the Stars move to 1-1. The Rams will head to Pleasant Hill, IA on Saturday, Nov. 13 to compete at the Grand View Open.
