OKLAHOMA CITY – The fourth-ranked Texas Wesleyan University women's wrestling team stormed to a 31-15 win over Oklahoma City University at Abe Lemons Arena on Wednesday.
The Lady Rams got a pin, two technical falls and a decision to pull away from the Stars. TXWES enjoyed a five point advantage of forfeits as OCU suffered three forfeits (101, 130, 136) to the Lady Rams' two (155, 191).
Jasmine Godinez romped to a 10-0 tech. fall win in the 116 match to get things going for TXWES.
Camille Fournier earned a fall in the 116 bout, pinning Carly Courcier before
Devin Patton posted a 10-0 tech. fall over Michaela Childs in the 123 match. OCU's third forfeit of the dual made it a 28-0 Ram lead before the Stars got on the board with a 10-0 tech fall win in the 143 match.

Aalyah Villareal tacked on the exclamation point earning a 10-6 decision over Angelina Adams in the 170 match. In that match, Villareal got a four-point takedown in the second period to lift the freshman from El Paso to victory.
TXWES also got a pair of pins from
Leilani Hernandez and Gracie Lafferty in exhibition action.
The Lady Rams will prepare for the Bobcat Open, hosted by McKendree University on Saturday, Feb. 12. Action starts at 9 a.m. at Melvin Price Convocation Center in Lebanon, Ill.
