Box Score FORT WORTH-- The Texas Wesleyan men's basketball team (18-9, 11-7 SAC) suffered a tough 70-69 loss on a last second shot against Oklahoma Panhandle State (11-14, 7-12) on Saturday afternoon at the Sid Richardson Center on senior day.

Ryan Flores, and
Sebastian Karwoski were the four seniors honored on Saturday afternoon. These four seniors have 12 combined years of playing experience at Texas Wesleyan and have helped the Rams basketball program to 50 wins, including 36 wins at home during that stretch. Their contributions to the program have led to three NAIA National Tournament appearances, many memorable moments, fanatic finishes, community service events and leadership that has carried to the next generation of Rams.
The Rams shot the ball well in the first half, shooting 45 percent from the field and 44 percent from the three-point line. TXWES was also 5 of 6 from the free-throw line in the first half. In the second half the Rams shot 42 percent from the field and 37 percent from the three-point line. For the game they shot 44 percent from the field.
TXWES scored 34 points in the paint and 16 points off of turnovers. The Rams had four players score in double digits. Senior

Peyton Sallee scored 13 points,
Vydal Bradford scored 11 points, , and junior
Kristian Lafayette scored 10 points.
TXWES held a 69-63 lead with 1:44 left in the game after a layup by Sallee. OPSU ended the game on a 7-0 run to defeat the Rams 70-69.
The Rams move to 8-3 all-time against OPSU. The Rams will face OCU on Thursday, Feb. 12 at the Sid Richardson Center.
