TULSA, OK-- The Texas Wesleyan women's Tennis team (6-2) defeated Missouri Valley College 7-0 on Sunday afternoon to capture its second straight victory in a row.

TXWES corralled an early doubles win with Aurora Novati and Thamara Pinto defeating Henning and Vidal (MVC) 6-2. The Lady Rams snagged the second point when Nicole Straznicky Caitlin Souvannahvong defeated Marciniuk and Liebenberg in the second doubles match 7-6. TXWES secured the last doubles point with Kara Antonio and Cecilia Salazar dominating with a 6-0 victory. 

The Lady Rams grabbed a 4-0 lead after Aurora Novati downed Henning (MVC) 6-0 and 6-3 in consecutive sets. Thamara Pinto, Nicole Straznicky, Caitlin Souvannavong, and Kara Antonio all defeated their opponents in two sets to continue the dominant performance for the lady Rams.

Cecila Salazar swept her opponent in consecutive sets to secure the 7-0 victory for TXWES. The Lady Rams move to 6-2 on the season and will face Texas Lutheran University on April 5 in Seguin, TX.
