OKLAHOMA CITY – Andrea Malek of Texas Wesleyan snared Sooner Athletic Conference volleyball defender of the week for the third consecutive time. 

Defender of the week: Andrea Malek | Jr. | DS | Euless, Texas 

Andrea Malek held down Texas Wesleyan's defensive chores to the tune of 7.11 digs and 0.33 aces per set in three victories over the past week. Malek had 20-dig performances in all three matches. Malek's high total last week was 23 digs in the Lady Rams' road win over Wiley (Texas).
