Texas Wesleyan University Places Third at NDA College Nationals

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Texas Wesleyan University placed third in the NAIA dance team performance championship in the National Dance Alliance College Nationals on Friday at the Ocean Center.
 
Over 430 teams attended with over 59 divisions between cheer and dance. The Gold Line Dancers competed in Team Performance for NAIA, a two-minute dance including Pom, jazz and hip-hop styles. They were able to advance to the finals and performed again on day two where they jumped scores and were able to secure third place for the division in the National finals. The Lady rams finished with a score of 85.15, while the OCU stars won the competition with a score of 90.40 and Aquinas (Mich.) took national runner-up with an 88.10 tally.
