Carson Rodgers and Gerrit Boldgett win Sooner Athletic Conference Oklahoma Ford Dealers Football Player of the Week awards announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Carson Rodgers earned the league Offensive Player of the Week honor while teammate
Gerrit Blodgett garnered Special Teams Player of the Week honors after the 21st-ranked Rams defeated No. 17 OUAZ 36-20 on Saturday.
Rodgers was 18-of-32 for 257 yards and three touchdown passes with four rushes for 23 yards in a 36-20 win over OUAZ. He averaged eight yards per attempt as the Rams sprinted out to a 20-7 halftime advantage and never looked back in a meeting of the top two teams in the SAC preseason poll.

Gerrit Blodgett was 3-for-4 in field goals and a perfect 3-for-3 in extra points in a 36-20 win over OUAZ. One of his field goals was good from 42 yards out late in the third quarter to push the Rams lead to 26-14. He also converted on a 38-yard field goal midway through the fourth quarter.
