KANSAS CITY, MO  – Ernest Ceasar, a senior running back for Texas Wesleyan University, has been named the NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week, earning national recognition for his historic achievement on the field.

In Texas Wesleyan's decisive 48-7 victory over Langston University, Ceasar delivered a stunning performance, rushing for 212 yards and setting a school record with six touchdowns. His impact was felt throughout the game as he averaged an impressive 8.5 yards per carry.

The six rushing touchdowns also catapulted Ceasar to a new NAIA milestone, bringing his season total to 33 rushing touchdowns and surpassing the previous record of 32, set by Jo Jo Jones of Lambuth University (Tenn.) in 1994 and Roger Butler of Tabor College (Kan.) in 2005.
