CHEER: Texas Wesleyan Cheer Excels at 2024 NCA College Nationals
DAYTONA BEACH, Fl - In a thrilling showcase of skill, determination, and teamwork, the Texas Wesleyan Cheer team once again demonstrated their excellence at the 2024 NCA College Nationals over the weekend.
 A midst fierce competition from over 25 other NAIA schools across various divisions, the Texas Wesleyan Cheer team shinned brightly, leaving an indelible mark on the prestigious event.
Competing in the Intermediate All-Girl Division against four other formidable opponents, the Texas Wesleyan Cheer team made history by securing the coveted 1st place spot after the preliminary round. The teamed showcased their unparalleled talent and dedication to their craft. Despite facing numerous challenges, including injuries that tested their resilience during the spring season, the team's unwavering spirit and unwavering commitment propelled them to remarkable success.
Although the journey was filled with ups and downs, the Texas Wesleyan Cheer team's exceptional performance culminated in a well-deserved 2nd place finish in the finals. Coach Terrance Davis' leadership and guidance were instrumental throughout the season, and he expressed immense pride and excitement for the team's achievements.
"I am so excited for this group of girls," Coach Terrance said. "We only had four returners from last year's team, and with all of the injuries we had to overcome this spring, I am very pleased with what these girls were able to accomplish."
