FORT WORTH -  Sydney Alexander of Texas Wesleyan University was named the Sooner Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week per the conference announced Monday morning.

Alexander led the Rams to a 2-0 record with victories over Langston University and Central Christian College (KS) last week as she tallied 21 kills for an average of 3.50 kills per set on 30 total attacks for an .633 hitting percentage. Alexander also added 10 digs for the week, including a season high eight digs in a sweep of Langston.
