FORT WORTH, TX - Texas Wesleyan University is excited to announce the commitment of an impressive recruiting class for the 2025 football season. Under the leadership of Head Coach Brad Sherrod, the Rams have secured a talented group of student-athletes from across the state of Texas. These recruits are poised to contribute immediately, strengthening the offensive and defensive as the program builds on its recent success. 

The Rams are coming off a historic season, having made a strong appearance in the NAIA Football Championship Series Playoffs and securing their third consecutive Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) Championship—2024 as outright champions for the first time in program history. Despite the departure of key contributors, including standout players Ernest Ceaser, AJ Bobb, Michael Banks, Arian Bhat, and Jay Reed, Coach Sherrod, and his staff have worked tirelessly to fill these gaps with recruits who are ready to step in and make an impact right away. 

"Every year, we aim to build a roster that not only competes at a high level but reflects the values of Texas Wesleyan University. This year's recruiting class is a direct reflection of that commitment," said Head Coach Brad Sherrod. "We've lost some incredible talent, but we've brought in a group of players to help us continue to elevate the program. They are not only talented athletes but also strong individuals who fit the culture we are building here at Texas Wesleyan." 

The Rams' 2025 recruiting class features a diverse group of young men, each bringing a unique skill set to the table. From dynamic wide receivers to hard-hitting linebackers and versatile offensive linemen, the incoming class is stacked with talent that will provide immediate depth and competition at every position. These athletes, hailing from various high schools across Texas, bring a mix of raw athleticism, leadership qualities, and the determination to compete at the highest levels of college football.
