OKLAHOMA CITY – Texas Wesleyan's Ashley Lekas has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference Oklahoma Ford Dealers Women's Wrestler of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday morning.

Lekas captured the 180-pound title at the SAC Women's Wrestling Championship, winning both of her matches by technical fall in a combined two minutes and 12 seconds. She opened the tournament with a 10-0 victory in just 46 seconds, then secured the championship with a 12-0 technical fall in 1:26.
