OKLAHOMA CITY -  Hanna Rubis of Texas Wesleyan University was named the Sooner Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week per the conference announced Monday morning.

Rubis helped lead the Rams to a 3-0 week with victories over RV Nelson, College of the Ozarks, and John Brown. She had 38 kills in 11 sets for an average of 3.45 kills per set with a hitting percentage of .392 on 74 total attacks. Rubis had season highs in Kills (17), assists (3), and digs (12) in a 3-1 win over RV Nelson. Rubis also added 22 digs and 15 blocks, 10 of which came against John Brown, in her three matches.
