OKLAHOMA CITY – Kolbe Fielder of Texas Wesleyan has been named this week's Sooner Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.

Fielder competed in the Northwest Iowa National Invitational at Willow Creek Golf Course in Le Mars, Iowa, and claimed the individual title with rounds of 68-65-64, setting a new school record score of 16-under-par 197. His final round of 64 was the second-best round in school history. Fielder finished the 54-hole tournament with two eagles, 17 birdies, and five bogies.
