FB: Rams Receiving Votes in Latest STADIONIC NAIA Football Coaches’ Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo - The Texas Wesleyan Football team is receiving votes in the latest STADIONIC NAIA Football Coaches' Poll, announced by the NAIA Monday. The Rams move up in the poll and enter for the first time this regular season.

A week after claiming a share of the top spot in the STADIONIC NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 for the first time in program history, the College of Idaho Yotes surged to sole possession of No. 1 in the Oct. 5 edition of the poll with eight first-place votes.

Keiser (Fla.) collected the remaining first-place votes but fell to No. 2, while No. 3 through No. 8 went unchanged. St. Thomas (Fla.) climbed one spot to No. 9, and Marian (Ind.) rejoined the top 10 after Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) knocked off Campbellsville (Ky.), pushing the Blue raiders to No. 11 and Campbellsville (Ky.) to No. 13.

There was only one change in the teams ranked in the Top 25, as Evangel (Mo.) beat Kansas Wesleyan to climb to No. 25, knocking out Cumberland (Tenn.), after the Phoenix fell to now-No. 22 Georgetown (Ky.).
