KANSAS — Samantha Barragan of No. 13 Texas Wesleyan University has been named the KCAC/Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Wrestler of the Week, the conferences announced Monday.

Barragan earned the honor for her performances from Feb. 2-8, selected by a vote of the conferences' sports information directors.

The KCAC and Sooner Athletic Conference merged their women's wrestling programs into a single national qualifying group for the 2025-26 season. The conferences jointly select one Women's Wrestler of the Week across both.

All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Athletic Solutions.
