WFF: Rams Spilt First Two Game in Program History

SAN ANTONIO - Texas Wesleyan University faced a tough start in their tournament on Friday, suffering an 18-6 loss to Texas Southern University in Game 1. Despite the score, quarterback Des shone offensively with 17/28 completions for 192 yards, 1 TD, and added 1 reception for 5 yards, though she threw 1 interception. Mikaela contributed significantly with 7 receptions for 58 yards and 1 TD, plus a 1/1 completion for 5 yards. Bell added 5 receptions for 71 yards and 3/4 completions for 25 yards. Defensively, the team struggled, but Avah recorded 1 interception and 1 PBU, while Ariel and Mikaela each had 4 tackles.

The Rams bounced back in Game 2 with a thrilling 21-20 victory over Concordia University Texas. Bell led the charge with 11 rushes for 74 yards, 8/14 completions for 92 yards, 2 receptions for 28 yards, and 1 sack on defense. Jisselle starred with 4 receptions for 57 yards and 2 TDs, plus 3 tackles. Mikaela hauled in 5 receptions for 55 yards and 5 tackles, while Avah added 4 tackles and 1 interception. Des supported with 4/8 completions for 31 yards and 1 TD, despite 1 interception.

The Rams will have their first home game on Saturday with the gamw scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m.
