SAN ANTONIO - Texas Wesleyan University faced a tough start in their tournament on Friday, suffering an 18-6 loss to Texas Southern University in Game 1. Despite the score, quarterback Des shone offensively with 17/28 completions for 192 yards, 1 TD, and added 1 reception for 5 yards, though she threw 1 interception. Mikaela contributed significantly with 7 receptions for 58 yards and 1 TD, plus a 1/1 completion for 5 yards. Bell added 5 receptions for 71 yards and 3/4 completions for 25 yards. The Rams bounced back in Game 2 with a thrilling 21-20 victory over Concordia University Texas.
