OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Texas Wesleyan University Pitcher Mike Pelosi has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week announced by the conference Monday morning.

Pelosi was dominant in the Rams 2-1 victory over Central Christian College (Kan.) in game one of the series. In his complete game, Pelosi only gave up three hits as he struck out five and only allowed three walks in the contest. The lone run the Tigers scored was unearned, giving Pelosi a 0.00 ERA with a 0.67 WHIP.
