FORT WORTH, TX - The Texas Wesleyan University Baseball Team clinched the Sooner Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship with a sweep over Wayland Baptist. The Rams return as the SAC Champions, last securing the championship in 2023.

The historic achievement is capped off with the Rams reaching the highest win total in conference play in program history with 22 wins and only five losses. The 22 wins tops the Rams record of 20 achieved in 2003, 2011, and 2013. The championship gives the Rams the No. 1 seed going into the conference tournament taking place this weekend as the Rams take on College of the Ozarks on Friday.

The win also clinches a trip to the NAIA National Tournament, a tournament the Rams are returning to for the first time since 2023 and are looking to continue their dominate run from this regular season.
