HOUSTON, TX:  The Texas Wesleyan University men’s track team saw its first action of the season at the University of Houston’s Leonard Hilton Indoor Invitational on Friday.
 
The Rams saw their best results in the distance events.  Andrew Herrera placed seventh amongst 14 runners in the 5000m with a time of 15:47.15.  Bobby Hawes ran the 800m in 2:00.78 to place eighth.
 
Christopher Smith and Luis Macias were the only sprinters in action for the Runnin’ Rams, taking part in the 440m.  Smith placed 16th (53.12), while Macias finished 19th (55.13).
