Tyrece Grant was the lone Texas Wesleyan athlete to compete at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships, finishing second in the men's 400 meters to score all 8 of the Rams' team points.
Grant, a junior from Texas Wesleyan, won his preliminary heat in 46.70 seconds before running 46.94 in the finals for the silver medal and 8 team points. Madonna's Netanel Dorothea won the event in 46.69.
Hayden Norwich did not produce a qualifying mark at the competition.
The Rams tied for 36th in the men's team standings with 8 points.
