OKLAHOMA CITY — Hayden Norwich of Texas Wesleyan has been named this week's Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboard men's indoor track and field athlete of the week for his efforts this past week, as announced by the conference office.

Norwich competed in the Jarvis Scott Invite and placed 11th in the shot put against a field of NCAA Division I competitors. His throw of 16.54 meters earned an NAIA "B" standard as he still holds the seventh-best throw in the nation this season.
