SAN ANTONIO, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University softball team (8-16, 6-3 RRAC) took two close losses from Our Lady of the Lake University (12-10, 7-2 RRAC) on Saturday. The Lady Rams took a hard 4-3 loss in eight innings before falling 5-2 in game two.
 
The Lady Rams took a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning of game one with a Christina Kelley RBI single to left.
 
Wesleyan made it a 2-0 ball game in the fifth with a Kali Jester home run to center field.
 
The Lady Saints got one back in the bottom of the fifth. Ruby Ximenez led off the inning with a home run to left.
 
OLLU took the lead in the sixth on three costly Lady Ram errors to make it 3-2 Saints.
 
The Rams tied it up in the seventh with a Jester RBI single.
 
Wesleyan could not get a run across in the top of the eighth and the Lady Saints took advantage in the bottom half of the inning on an Ashley Perez RBI double.
 
In the second inning the Lady Rams played catch up for the entire game as the Lady Saints put 5 runs on Wesleyan through three innings.
 
The Lady Rams tried to make a comeback in the sixth with two walks with the bases loaded to get on the board and make it a 5-2 game, but could not make any more headway dropping game two 5-2.
