Sam Martin and the Rams got out of trouble in the second, striking out Dustin Tarpley with the bases loaded to keep the lead at 1-0.
The Rams put runners in scoring position in the fourth inning after a botched play at second and a

Trevor Moon lined a base hit into center field for 2 RBI to give the Rams a 3-1 lead.
The Rams added two more runs on a high fly ball in the infield hit by

David Kiriakos kicked it into overdrive to give Howeth a RBI and give the Rams a 3-0 lead.
Texas Wesleyan added a run in the second on a perfectly placed slap shot by Padilla for a RBI to make it 4-0 ball game.
Ramser Munoz added another run with a home run blast down the left field line for a 5-0 advantage. Later in the inning, Moon smacked a RBI triple to right center and scored on a wild pitch. Kiriakos helped the cause with a home run smash over the left field fence.
Kenneth Dickerson came through in a pinch hit spot with a RBI double down the left field line. Munoz came to bat for the second time in the inning and kept the two out rally alive with a RBI single through the left side to cap a six run, seven hit inning.
